Based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Hotbrands International (HBI) is one of the fastest growing food service companies in the region, and develops, operates and markets a unique range of ethnic restaurant concepts. HBI’s base is in the United Arab Emirates where the majority of its units are located; however India is seen as the company’s major growth point.

In India, HBI currently operates a total of 14 units under 3 business formats, namely, Corporate, Joint Venture, and Franchise Models. These outlets are situated primarily in Mumbai and Delhi/NCR regions; however expansion into other major cities is already underway.

HBI is particularly well known for its Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) format led by its flagship Shamiana brand. However, with the quick-service dining concept proving hugely successful, HBI began exploring other food service formats, and eventually identified a highly promising area – the Casual Dining Restaurant (CDR) sector, where customers could enjoy eating out in relaxed contemporary surroundings, to savor innovative high quality food.

Hotbrands International and its executives are also members of the International Council of Shopping Centres, the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres, the Franchising Association of India, and the Canadian Business Council of Dubai.
